Thursdsay update - Food Day!

Hi GV students!
Today and tomorrow the library will be used for STAR makeups - make sure to check for a sign outside the library to see if we are closed or not. 

Today is also food day! 

Craving a spciy chicken sandwich from Carl's Junior?  Come on by the Friends of the Library table for one - just $2.  Don't forget all proceeds benefit the Library!

Tuesday - Math
Wednesday: Science

The library will be used this week again for STAR testing and STAR makeups on Thursday and Friday.  We will let you know on Wednesday how long we will be closed for makeups.

Thursday update

Last day for STAR this week! Thanks to our 1st period crowd for packing up early so we can prepare for testing. 

Today's classes: Mrs. Jimenez, period 4.

More STAR testing today:  English/Language Arts, Part II.  Don't forget we're closed at brunch for kids who are continuing to test.

Monday update

Hi Golden Valley!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend! 

Mrs. Anthony's /Mrs. Anderson's 2,3,4,5 classes will be in the library today.

The library will also be used for STAR testing.  We'll be closing at 7:30 each STAR test morning to get the room ready and set up.  We apologize for any inconvenience. 

Also, the library is also used as STAR test overflow - we may not be open directly at brunch because of students still testing. 

Thursday news - closed at lunch today! Boo!

Hi GV!  Here's what's up for today:

• Mrs. Anthony's class is in here 2,3,4, and 5 today
• Mr. Deuschle - period 6
• Mrs. Huffman - period 7

So, yes, we are closed 6th and 7th, although if you have independent work you can do without bothering the classes scheduled, ask me, Mrs. Pedroza, or Mrs. Frost, and we'll probably let you sign in!!  

Unfortunately, we are also closed at lunch today for the ASVAB test results review!  Never fear, Friday we'll be open again!
